Week five

Boy, oh boy, am I changing fast these days! I can hardly recognize myself! The developing ‘me’ has three layers now. The top layer (ectoderm) will be my nervous system i.e. the brain and spinal cord. The middle layer (mesoderm) will develop into the heart and circulatory system. For the development of intestines, liver, pancreas and bladder it is the lower layer or the endoderm I must thank

Are you listening mom?

Are you wondering if you're pregnant? Those swollen breasts, nausea in the morning …and the dizzy spells? Your guess may be correct, after all. Stay cool Mom and take that much-needed rest.

…and you dad?

I know Mom’s mood swings are continuing. Is she throwing temper tantrums too? Well, well, that’s only the beginning! As I grow with each passing day, she also keeps changing. Be a little patient Dad and I am sure Mom will appreciate that later.
