Week fourteen

I am a whopping 3 1/2 inches now and can weigh almost an ounce [25 grams]. I am breathing a lot these days. I am feeling more comfortable with my hands. I feel like holding on to something, but it’s quite slippery out here.

Are you listening mom?

You look great in your new maternity clothes. I know there are new moles on your body and the ones you already had have become bigger. But there is less nausea and less frequent trips to the bathroom. That’s good news, isn’t it?

It is the time when those damn hormones start pulling out. What comes instead is constipation. Bear with it for the time being.

…and you dad?

Hey, why are you so worried? Do you think you are going to be the only father in this world? Oh, no Dad, there are lots of them around. Talk to them – they’ll tell you that actually it’s great fun - the responsibility is not that great. After all I am not going to be that difficult, trust me.
