Week thirty three

I should weigh about 4.4 pounds [2000 grams] by now. Rapid brain growth has increased the size of my head considerably. That doesn’t mean you can call me a ‘bighead’. Most intelligent people have big heads – Einstein, Newton…….

Oh God Mom, another friend’s mother has got something called pre-eclampsia. I believe this is a very severe complication with severe headache, abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting and sickness. This mother I am talking about would see ‘flashing lights’ even while resting. In case you see anything like this, you’ll tell Doc immediately, won’t you Mom?

It is just a few more weeks before I finally get there. Have you started thinking about the room I’m going to stay in? Which colour have you thought of, Dad? Blue? We shall see, we shall see!
