Week twenty
five |
I
weigh around 700 grams and am nearly 22 cm. But
then you can’t compare me with everyone else. Just
because I am growing this way doesn’t mean the
others would too.
|
Actually this week was busy. Development of
blood vessels in the lungs and the opening of my
nostrils kept me on my toes.
|
|
| Are you listening mom? |
Did
you get the ‘Glucose tolerance test’ done?
|
Mom, I am a little worried about you –
hope you don’t start "Preterm Labor" like my friend’s mother. She had
menstrual-like cramps, dull backache, pelvic pressure, abdominal cramps and uterine
contractions every 10 minutes or so. I believe they shouldn’t start before the 37th week. So Mom, if by
chance you get any of these symptoms now, will you
tell Doc right away?
|
I
also know that my growing is putting a lot of
pressure on your back and pelvis. But what to do
Mom, I wish I could help it.
|
|
| …and you dad? |
Dad,
Dad, Dad! Be a little careful when you hug Mom! It
hurts!
|
I’ll
give you an idea. To show you really care,
reschedule your work a bit. Come home a little
early. After all now there is me – more important
than your work! Not that I’m asking you to stop
your hugs and kisses – I like them too. But just
make sure they don’t hurt.
